Recognising the genus
1. Chloromyia formosa (Broad Centurion) - confirmed by rearing
Photos by Nicola Garnham. Larva found among a cabbage patch on 8 January 2020. C. formosa larvae often have distinctive longitudinal stripes, but this individual is a rather pale example. The adult fly emerged on 17 May 2020.
