Formed in 1999, the Stilt & Stalk Fly Recording Scheme studies the 83 European species of Micropezids & Tanypezids and collates records of the 40 which occur in the British Isles, publishing to the NBN Atlas & GBIF.
Encompassing two Superfamilies: NERIOIDEA (Pseudopomyzidae & Micropezidae), the Micropezids and DIOPSOIDEA (Diopsidae, Tanypezidae, Strongylophthalmyiidae, Megamerinidae & Psilidae), the Tanypezids.
