Spring field meeting - Peak District

Our 2025 Spring meeting will be held in the Peak District. We will be based in the area just south of Buxton, focusing on some of the limestone dales where there will also be plenty of botanical interest. The DF last visited the Peak District during a very hot spell during the  2018 summer field meeting. Hopefully, the weather will be a bit cooler this time! The usual arrangement for the spring field meeting will apply, where attendees book their own accommodation. There is a good choice of B&B and self-catering accommodation in the area, as well as YHA (Ravenstor is the most convenient) and campsite options. Buxton has a number of small hotels and a Premier Inn. If you are interested in attending, please contact the DF secretary and she will keep you up to date with meeting information.
