Thank you to all members who have already paid their 2022 subscriptions. This is a great help.
Please could I remind members who have yet to renew their subscriptions that they are now due. Our subscription year runs from January to December but payment up to the end of March will not cause us any extra work. Thereafter we have to pay additional postage costs as some of our bulk postage cost is paid by another agency. It is also extra work for our volunteers to send out individual back copies. There is also the risk of us running out of paper copies of journals if we have not received a renewal when we estimate print runs.
We shall be distributing the Spring Digest shortly to all who subscribed last year and will probably do the same for the Spring Bulletin. Thereafter no journals will be distributed to people who are not up to date with subscriptions. We do not as a matter of course send out reminders as this is time consuming and generally does not elicit a big response. Please remember all our officers are volunteers, giving up their own time to help run the society.
At present we are having problems with Paypal and cannot receive subscriptions via them. You can pay via bank transfer, annual standing order (these methods are preferred), cheque or cash.
