NEW: British Craneflies, by Alan Stubbs, now published

Many congratulations to Alan Stubbs and the British Entomological and Natural History Society (BENHS) on the publication of British Craneflies, a major new book covering all of the British fauna - over 350 species. Alan has pioneered the study of this group of flies for many years, and with the availabilty of this brilliant book, plus a very active and helpful recording scheme, this is a great time to further your interest in craneflies. The book is superbly illustrated and has detailed identification keys as well as accounts for each species.

British Craneflies is available to purchase from BENHS, and note that a substantial discount is available to members of Dipterists Forum or BENHS (as long as your subscription is fully paid up!). Note that BENHS also has a special offer for the purchase of British Craneflies alongside British Plume Moths.
