Dipterists Forum eagerly awaits publication of the new Handbook on fungus gnats, written by our Bulletin editor Peter Chandler and published by the Royal Entomological Society. Peter is well known as a leading expert in this group of flies, and the new handbook will bring together a wealth of information on fungus gnat identification, ecology and distribution. It covers the 334 species currently known from subfamily Mycetophilinae.
