Nematocera identification help please

I occasionally get sent photographs to identify in Lincolnshire, and this illustrates a group that I can't handle. Any level of identification would be useful to provide feedback and keep people interested. It was photographed 31/8/20 in coarse vegetation and scrub on damp ground.
