Clusiodes

Hi, my most recent Clusiodes ? albimanus is by far the darkest that I have ever seen, and reviewing previous specimens has reminded me that they are a motley crew, which I was never absolutely sure. Based on having a presutural dorsocentral, post verticals present, and three orbitals, the upper one being sometimes quite weak. The Diptera Info site shows albimanus as resembling mine quite closely in its Gallery section but several identified in the forum have pale legs.

I have Alan Stubbs' key. Are there any accessible new thoughts on these species? Can gentilis have black legs?
