Description

Soldierflies and their allies include a fascinating mix of species from many habitats and with hugely varied life-histories. Find out more about these attractive insects, and how you can recognise and record them, in this webinar by Martin Harvey. With around 160 species in Britain, these charismatic flies have very specialist lifestyles and habitat niches that make them vulnerable to habitat disturbance and as such they can serve as excellent habitat quality indicators.
