Dear Members,

This year’s Dipterists Day meeting is a joint affair with the Malloch Society in Scotland and will take place in Edinburgh at the National Museums Scotland. Once again it will be a hybrid session with a live webcast of the meeting in Edinburgh for those unable to attend in person.

LAST MINUTE CHANGE TO MEETING LINK

Sadly we have had hundreds of spam registrations for the webcast of tomorrow's meeting. After careful consideration the technical team at NMS have advised us it would be best to abandon the original meeting link, and start afresh.

I am avoiding posting the meeting link here on our website, as this may have been the source of the spam registration. However all members have received an e-mail from me containing the new link.

If you cannot see an e-mail from me in your in-box, please check your spam folder.

There is no need to register with the new meeting link, simply click on the link and the meeting will open.

Friday 17^th November

Access to the collections in Edinburgh: 9:30 to 16:30

Head to reception to sign-in, from where you will be collected. It's advisable to bring a packed lunch, options in Granton are limited.

This year’s meeting has largely organised itself, thanks to Vlad and Ashleigh in Edinburgh, and to the Malloch Society members who have so enthusiastically engaged with this joint meeting, and most especially to Iain MacGown for all his kind efforts arranging so many of the talks.
