A day of free, family-friendly fun where scientists, volunteers, and members of the local community work together to identify as many species as possible of plants, animals and fungi. Activities will include pond dipping, pitfall traps and more! Paddington Recreation Ground covers 27 acres in the heart of London, with open grassland, hedges, scrub and mature trees, and is recognised as a Local Wildlife Site.
Experienced dipterists and other naturalists would be welcomed to help record and identify during the day.
